Beale Stainton
Beale Stainton is a writer and publisher based in Coogee, New South Wales. The Magic Cafe is his first novel, published in June 2026 through his own imprint, Ibis Press - which he registered, designed, distributed and marketed himself, largely to find out whether he could.
He is currently building Weyed, software for the Australian heavy haulage industry, four months in and counting.
Before both of those he walked the length of New Zealand, which is where the book came from.
