I write novels and build software. Both are the same job: work out what’s actually happening, then tell the truth about it.
My first novel, The Magic Cafe, came out in June through my own imprint. The rest of my week goes into a software company for the people who move things too big for the road.

Harry Kissinger is thirty, part-Maori, and has just walked sixteen hundred kilometres down the length of New Zealand to clear his head. He arrives in Sydney with a Kathmandu backpack, a Barry Crump novel, and a private vow to stop drinking. Then Sydney happens.
CURRENTLY BUILDING
Weyed - convoy software for Australian heavy haulage, the trucks that need a permit, a police escort and two pilot vehicles to move a transformer across three states. Four months in, built solo, AI-native from the first commit.
Sometimes a novel, sometimes a shipping log.
I write about writing the book, selling the book, and building the company - the parts nobody publishes.
